• Simplified checkout and transaction experiences by improving payment method selection, error handling, retry flows, success/failure states, and user communication.

Credit card bill payment is a key journey of the Pay charter, powered by Bharat Bill Pay System (BBPS). The flow had been running on a legacy design for years and needed a refresh driven by performance data and evolving user needs.

I've been part of the Airtel Pay charter since 2022, working across checkout, UPI and BBPS journeys. This case study focuses on redesigning the checkout experience across web and app to reduce friction for new users and improve payment progression.

Sales & Onboarding for Financial Institutions

Airtel Ads powers a ₹200 crore revenue stream across Airtel's digital ecosystem - Thanks, Wynk, and Xstream, without turning any of them into an ad-first experience. I led the design of a native, reusable ad system built to scale across formats and apps while staying invisible as "advertising" to the user. Alongside this, I designed engagement features within the Discover tab that supported both ad delivery and app stickiness.
