Credit card bill payment is a key journey of the Pay charter, powered by Bharat Bill Pay System (BBPS). The flow had been running on a legacy design for years and needed a refresh driven by performance data and evolving user needs.

Redesigning the Credit Card Bill Payment Experience

Working with GlobalLogic for Candescent on fintech and banking products, primarily across the Sales and Onboarding line of business.

• Leading design initiatives across sales, onboarding, and enterprise banking workflows.

• Mentoring and reviewing work for designers across their respective product areas.

• Simplifying complex journeys by defining user flows, interaction patterns, and scalable UI solutions.

Designed product experiences for Airtel Pay across UPI, BBPS, credit card bill payments, checkout flows, and transaction journeys.

• Worked on end-to-end payment flows covering biller discovery, payment initiation, amount entry, confirmation, transaction status, receipts, and post-payment states.

• Simplified checkout and transaction experiences by improving payment method selection, error handling, retry flows, success/failure states, and user communication.

• Collaborated with product, business, engineering, and analytics teams to improve usability, completion, and overall payment experience quality.

Worked on visual design and digital communication for EazyDiner’s restaurant discovery and dining experiences.

I’ve been part of the Airtel Pay charter since 2022, focused on designing seamless checkout experiences across web and app channels within the Airtel Thanks app. My work also includes designing for UPI payments and Bharat Bill Pay System (BBPS) to create a unified destination for all user payment needs.

Sales & Onboarding for Financial Institutions

As Airtel expanded its digital footprint across Thanks, Wynk, and Xstream, the business goal was clear: build a monetisation layer across all apps - without making users feel like they were in an ad-first environment.I led the design for Airtel Ads, a native ad platform designed to integrate ad opportunities into Airtel’s digital ecosystem. Along the way, I also designed engagement features within the Discover tab, which supported both ad delivery and app stickiness.
